Manual Installation
VibeHeader is now available on the Chrome Web Store! You can also manually install from a ZIP in both Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
TL;DR: Prefer the store install. For manual: download ZIP, load unpacked in chrome://extensions
or edge://extensions
. VibeHeader is ad‑free, no tracking, and uses minimal permissions.

- Permissions: Minimal; scoped to modify headers for matched sites.
- Privacy: No telemetry or injected ads. Share/import handled client‑side via URL fragment.
- Chrome vs Edge: Feature‑parity for header rules; install flows differ only by store.
Manual Install (Chrome)
- Download the ZIP: vibeheader-1.0.0.zip.
- Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder, for example:
~/Downloads/VibeHeader-1.0.0/
. - Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions
. - Enable Developer mode (top-right toggle).
- Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder (the
VibeHeader-1.0.0
folder that containsmanifest.json
). - VibeHeader appears in the list. Pin it from the toolbar menu for quick access.
Manual Install (Microsoft Edge)
- Download the ZIP: vibeheader-1.0.0.zip.
- Extract the ZIP to a permanent folder, for example:
~/Downloads/VibeHeader-1.0.0/
. - Open Edge and go to
edge://extensions
. - Enable Developer mode (left panel toggle).
- Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder (the
VibeHeader-1.0.0
folder that containsmanifest.json

VibeHeader is now available on the Chrome Web Store! You can install it directly or continue using the manual installation method below. If you're already using the manual version, you can switch to the store version at your convenience.
